Preliminary Layout

 This week I brainstormed some ideas for the layout of my magazine. I have a few definite elements I want to include and a few I am unsure about. 

Masthead: AYMC or A Young Mans Culture 

 Main Image: Person featured in the feature article                                                                                                     

  Selling Line: The life and style of a Young Man.

 

Typography/Font: Times new Roman 

Feature Article Title/Content/Image/s: A conversation with “           “            

Content Page Styling/Article Title Ideas: Sub-articles about fashion, sports, music, and pop culture

Storyboard

     Making my storyboard was a fun but challenging experience.   It made me open my eyes and realize  just how difficult it is to bring a whole magazine together. All that I was required to do  was four pages which was time-consuming  enough,  so it is hard to imagine   doing it for an entire fifty plus page magazine.  Something that was difficult for me was  planning out my time to  do my storyboard.  I n the  article  Filmmaking across the curriculum: a beginner's guide  it  tells you to a llocate  lots of time to the project, and then some more, as it always takes longer than you think  (O’Brien, 2005.)
